Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Telemetry unit at a prominent medical center. The position involves providing care in a 37-bed unit with a primary focus on telemetry patients. The nurse will collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, ensuring optimal care and timely interventions.
- Administer medication and therapies as prescribed.
- Perform procedures such as central line placements and assist in heart catheter recovery.
- Document patient care in the Meditech electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital telemetry experience.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
