7 PM to 7 AM with self-scheduling to include 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Telemetry & Pulmonary Step Down Unit provides care for patients with moderate physiologic instability who require support. This includes patients experiencing COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, CHF, and those with tracheostomies. The unit focuses on cardiac and respiratory management and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen therapy and monitor respiratory conditions using Nasal Cannula, BIPAP/CPAP, and AirVo.
• Perform nursing interventions including vital signs monitoring every 4 hours and neurological assessments.
• Conduct continuous cardiac monitoring and blood glucose monitoring every 4 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
