Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 3 years of PCU and oncology experience, including chemotherapy certification. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must meet specific qualifications and be flexible in terms of location and department assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care specific to oncology and PCU patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent oncology experience within the last 12 months.
• Current RN licensure with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active OCN and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's license required for residency verification.
