Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-Hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Must be willing to float between facilities.

Job Description

The Surgical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes preparation of the operating room, providing assistance to the surgical team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Assist with preparing and positioning patients for surgery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals during surgeries and provide necessary interventions.
• Document surgical procedures and patient status accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of previous charge experience in a surgical unit.
• Current RN license in the state of California.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
