Schedule/Shift

Days, 8 hour shifts, start time varies between 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM based on patient volume. Weekend requirements are only on weekends from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotation.

Job Description

This role involves providing radiation therapy to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The position requires experience with procedures such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatment as per physician's instructions and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs.
• Collaborate with medical staff in the care and treatment of patients.
• Ensure the safe operation of radiation therapy equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
• California state license preferred; pending licenses accepted.
