Days, 8-hour shift from 06:30 AM to 02:30 PM with a variable start time depending on volume and machine schedule.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist in Radiation Oncology is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures as part of the treatment and management of oncology patients. This role requires proficiency in various radiation oncology technologies and good patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using advanced equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care in radiation oncology.
• Document imaging results accurately and maintain patient records in the specified charting system.
• Assist in the management of patient caseload while adhering to protocols and procedures.
• Engage in interdisciplinary support and maintain effective communication with team members regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of charge experience in a hospital setting or equivalent specialty.
• Certification: ARRT (T) and a valid state license required.
• Preferred experience with the Epic charting system.
• Must have experience handling adult acute care and outpatient cases, particularly in oncology.
• Ability to work with technologies such as IVUS, SRS, and SBRT.
