8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide care primarily to an adult and geriatric patient population in an acute care facility, focusing on inpatient rehabilitation. Experience in both Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) is preferred due to the nature of the caseloads. Familiarity with the EPIC documentation system is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to improve their functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Document patient progress in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient experience at an acute care facility.
• Current California Occupational Therapist license.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
