NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

Join our Level IV NICU team, specializing in high-acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions in neonates. This role involves caring for critically ill infants, including those with a high volume of intubated and acute cases. Experience in ventilator and tracheostomy care is essential, alongside a strong background in pediatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates with complex medical needs.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Utilize specialized equipment for respiratory support and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current OH or Compact RN License.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required.
• Ventilator and trach care experience required.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
