Rotating shifts: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position demands high acuity experience with neonates suffering from various complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to critically ill neonates with conditions such as Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, and Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
• Monitor and manage ventilated infants and those requiring tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Servo Ventilators, Nitric Oxide, and Moog Feeding Pumps.
• Document patient care and progress using electronic charting systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Ohio or Compact state license is required.
• Two years of Level IV NICU experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1-3.
