Schedule

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Every other weekend commitment is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a Level 2 trauma center, and will be skilled in providing comprehensive care to patients in a high-volume emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills and techniques in the management of trauma patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner system.
• Participate in emergency procedures and protocols as required.
• Engage with patients and families in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to starting date.
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a high-volume ED with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
