Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a dedicated medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
Required Experience
- 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
- Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED is preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license.
- ACLS certification before beginning employment.
- BLS certification before beginning employment.
- PALS certification before beginning employment.
- TNCC certification before beginning employment.
- CPI certification before beginning employment.
- NIHSS certification before beginning employment.
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
