Registered Nurse - Specialty Clinic

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialties in an outpatient setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and excellent critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional care to patients in the outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.
• Triage incoming patient calls, assess needs, and provide appropriate advice or direction based on scope of practice and licensure.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures and examinations.
• Participate in developing and maintaining established policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Engage in quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniques.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
