Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Free Standing ER RN for a fast-paced environment. The position requires a solid background in general emergency nursing, with the ability to provide care to a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics. As a Free Standing ER RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency care in a standalone facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages in a standalone emergency department.
• Administer treatments and medications as per protocols.
• Conduct assessments to determine the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Possibly float to other facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of general emergency nursing experience (adult and pediatric).
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA only), NIHSS, TNCC.
• Preferred Certifications: CPI, NRP.
