Schedule / Shift

Shifts are rotating and include two night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM and one day shift from 11 AM to 11 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a Free Standing ER RN to join our dynamic emergency services team. In this role, you will provide critical care to a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, with a patient ratio of 1:5-7. You may be required to float to nearby facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and management of patients in a busy emergency department setting.
• Management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, and care of ventilated patients.
• Perform triage, procedural sedation administration, and continuous IV sedation.
• Documentation of care in the Epic charting system.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of general emergency experience with both adult and pediatric populations.
• Experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• NRP and TNCC certifications are preferred.
