Night Shift: 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous charge experience and a strong background in various nursing skills including but not limited to cardiac telemetry and critical care procedures. This role requires a nurse who can manage a high patient ratio effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac drips and telemetry.
• Administer medications and blood products as necessary.
• Provide care for patients on BiPAP/CPAP and manage high flow nasal cannula therapy.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner charting systems.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced nursing staff regarding protocols and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with a valid PA or Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias.
• Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is preferred.
