Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule

Will work 3x12-hour mids (1 PM - 1 AM) with weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive ER experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in critical situations.
• Assess patient conditions, perform triage, and initiate life-saving treatments.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage a variety of medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac incidents, and respiratory distress.
• Document patient information and care provided in the electronic medical record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience is required.
• Current South Carolina RN license or a compact RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Epic charting experience is preferred.
