Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to provide care and support to patients requiring respiratory intervention. The ideal candidate will float between departments as needed, working primarily with adult and pediatric patients within critical care and general care settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and respiratory care.
• Perform emergency procedures as necessary, including intubation and extubation.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment, including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Current state licensure or pending license accepted.
• Completion of fit test using an approved respiratory mask is mandatory prior to start.
