Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position requiring 3x12 hour shifts during the night, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including some weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care and general care services to adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include managing various respiratory conditions, supporting mechanical ventilation, and administering therapies as per prescribed protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate respiratory needs.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the state or compact license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS and NALS for pediatrics preferred.
