Registered Nurse - Comprehensive Medical Unit

Schedule

Day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with every other weekend required. No call requirement.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will primarily work on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit but may also float to various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation, as well as ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions in the Comprehensive Medical Unit.
• Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Providing education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
• Floating between various Med-Surg units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven proficiency in Epic EMR.
• Current BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry and pass the competency test on the first day of work.
