Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients. The RN may also float occasionally between various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Respiratory unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly related to respiratory issues.
• Float to other Med-Surg units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation, ensuring accuracy and timely response.
• Maintain proficiency in Epic EMR for documentation and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience is required.
• Proficient in Epic EMR; proficiency will be verified on the first day of employment.
