Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele - Nights

Schedule

This position offers 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with both 36 and 48 hours per week options available. Candidates are required to work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Additionally, working at least one holiday during the contract is mandatory.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality care in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit, consisting of 43 beds. The nurse is expected to be flexible with facility scheduling needs and may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced cardiac medical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families.
• Participate in patient assessments and implement care plans.
• Assist in training and guidance for new personnel when serving in a charge capacity.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, with at least 1 recent year in a medical surgical/telemetry environment.
• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
