Schedule

Shifts available: 7A or 7P, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours are required every other or every third weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit will provide care for adult and geriatric patients, monitoring vital signs and addressing their unique medical needs. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, equipped with vital monitoring technology and electronic health records via Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient EKGs and vital signs.
• Manage discharges and admissions.
• Administer medications and basic cardiac drips.
• Provide care for conditions such as CHF, COPD, and CKD.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Meditech experience preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
