Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN)

Schedule

This is a night shift position, consisting of 4x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Every other weekend and holiday work is required.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting telemetry readings, and managing intravenous therapies. Flexibility to float to other medical-surgical units is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry for patients on medical-surgical units.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Carry out healthcare interventions based on patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role
• Charge experience preferred
