Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The nurse will work night shifts, specifically 3x12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekends and holidays, with no on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an emergency setting. This role involves triaging patients, managing emergency situations, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Triage patients according to acuity and need.
• Perform assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Manage emergency interventions and provide critical care for patients in distress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required.
• Epic experience preferred.
