Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 3x12 hours (06:45 - 19:15)

Job Description

The Cardiac Telemetry RN will be responsible for providing care for patients with various cardiac conditions. This position involves monitoring telemetry patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips.
• Provide post-operative care following cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Manage dysrhythmias and implement isolation precautions when necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in patient care planning as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience is required.
• Experience in MS/Tele/Step-down nursing preferred.
