Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes. Enthusiastic and compassionate patient care is essential in this role as you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions and adjusting care plans as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient's vital signs and report any changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care and progress in medical records.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications, Experience, Certifications, and Licensure
Required: Valid RN license in North Carolina, experience in telemetry nursing, and BLS certification. Preferred: ACLS certification and experience with electronic medical records.
