Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour schedule and a 24-hour guarantee. Candidates should be prepared for weekend and holiday rotations, as well as possible call and floating to support other units.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for our neuro and medical ICU patients. Candidates must be willing to work in challenging environments, adapting to varying situations and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patients in the ICU.
• Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 24 months ICU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current Life Support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from approved vendors.
• No hits on state license to practice – must have an active license.
• Experience with travel nursing is highly preferred.
