Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to handle emergencies and provide critical support to patients and their families during medical crises. The nurse may be required to float to a sister site based on staffing needs and patient census.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations in the emergency room setting.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions and documentation according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support to patients and their families during critical situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ER nursing experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no infractions on state license.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Driver’s license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
