Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Days 10 Hours Shift

Schedule

This position entails a 10-hour day shift with a schedule of 4 days on, followed by on-call requirements for 7 days a month, which are not consecutive. A guaranteed 36 hours per week is provided.

Job Description

Join a complete Cath Lab team utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons, providing comprehensive Cardiac and Peripheral Services in Southwest Oklahoma. The Cath Lab RN will be responsible for monitoring patients in the Cath Lab and executing various procedures including Left and Right Heart Catheterizations, PTCA, Stenting, as well as diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients using advanced devices such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Proficiently administer LEXISCAN Stress Tests.
• Assist in pre and post-procedure areas, transporting patients, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.
• Rotate shifts to ensure optimal patient care during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred.
• ACLS certification (AHA) is preferred.
• Current licensure in Oklahoma or compact state, along with BLS and NIH certifications.
