Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Shift: 7A - 7:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a large academic hospital. This position requires a strong background in nursing, particularly in high-acuity settings. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in academic environments that cater to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per protocols and standards.
• Perform assessments, update care plans, and administer medications.
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital required.
• Passing competency testing score within 24 hours of submission required.
• 2 years of experience in nursing, no testing required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
