Registered Nurse - Labor and Post-Partum

Night shift: 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in labor and post-partum care. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to best practices in maternal and infant health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and during the post-partum phase
• Monitor patient vital signs and fetal heart rates, assess labor progress, and administer medications as needed
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Educate patients and families on post-partum care, breastfeeding, and infant care protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in labor and post-partum settings
• Active RN license in the state of practice (Compact license preferred)
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
