Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

This position offers a schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week with a 36-hour guarantee.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. You will work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice while directing, coordinating, and delegating activities to foster patient and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of nursing experience required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
• Primarily ICU experience preferred, with a willingness to float to CVICU.
• Current ACLS certification (copy required in submission).
• Michigan RN license verification is required.
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
