Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position offers a schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week, with a minimum guarantee of 24 hours.

Job Description

The Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse will work in a dynamic healthcare environment, primarily based on the Boswell campus, and may also float to the Del Webb campus as needed. Candidates must be skilled and experienced in Cardiac Progressive Care and demonstrate a willingness to adapt to various shifts and locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac PCU.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Current Life Support certifications (ACLS and BLS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No reported issues on the state license to practice.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
