Schedule

This position offers a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. There are 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that the facility is allowed to cancel one shift per pay period.

Location

Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in any Arizona facility.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients presenting with acute medical issues. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with healthcare teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and administer medications and treatments as required.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding discharge and follow-up care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ER experience, with recent practice in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Active TNCC and NIHSS certifications are required.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
