Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 36-hour work week, with shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A minimum of 24 hours per week is guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in high-stress situations. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, equipped with critical thinking skills, and possess a passion for emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Provide immediate care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate with medical staff and other team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols and patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Room nursing experience within the last 12 months.
• Current TNCC and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Life support certifications must be valid from an approved vendor: AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Valid state nursing license with no hits.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
