Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide specialized care and advanced treatment to help individuals rebuild their lives following injury or illness. This position involves working closely with patients to design and implement effective treatment plans in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress towards goals.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Time management and point of care documentation skills are a must.
• Knowledge of GG scoring and common diagnoses such as neuro, ortho, and cardiac conditions is desirable.
