Job Description

Join a fast-paced 36-bed unit specializing in orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and traumas. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will provide high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced technology for communication and patient management. This unit is part of a busy Level 2 trauma center with a strong focus on employee engagement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including wound care and dressing changes.
• Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and other equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize mobile communication technology to enhance team collaboration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Kansas RN license is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in acute care, medical-surgical or telemetry units is required.
• NIH certification is preferred.
