Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekends required (4 shifts in a 4-week period).

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg unit, where you will care for patients with various medical conditions. This role requires a passion for nursing, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform procedures including PIV and Foley management, central line management, and wound care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Prior inpatient acute care experience required.
• Basic dysrhythmias knowledge necessary.
• Previous experience in a trauma center preferred.
