7 PM - 7 AM, with a rotation every 3rd weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional patient care for our surgical and medical patients. This unit specializes in total joint replacements, complex spine care, complex neuro surgery cases, and general surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med-Surg setting.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR (Meditech).
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Manage patient load as per established ratios.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS or PALS is preferred.
• Experience in a Med-Surg or similar nursing environment is highly desirable.
