Surgical Technologist - CVOR

3x12-Hour Shift (06:00 - 16:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with open heart experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures and Level I trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Maintain sterile conditions during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Participate in post-operative care and assist with patient preparation for the subsequent procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required.
• Certification: NBSTSA required (NCCT not accepted).
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Must be able to float as needed.

On-Call and Holiday Requirements

• On-call requirement with a 30-minute response time.
• Must be able to work every third or fourth weekend.
• Expected to work two of the three major holidays and available as needed.
