Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The OR RN will work a 4x10 hour day shift from 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM, with weekend coverage typically required every fourth weekend. Weekday call is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a rotational basis.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, with competencies in a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist with surgical operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient status and provide necessary interventions during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures such as hysterectomy, appendectomy, and orthopedic surgeries.
