Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3/12's with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients using the Nursing Process, adhering to the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. Ongoing clinical competencies are expected through continued education and practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate leadership by planning and coordinating patient care.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as required.
• Supervise and provide direction to healthcare personnel involved in delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Arizona RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
