Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, Rotating 3x12s Weekly, with 36 guaranteed hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry setting, primarily focusing on medical/surgical needs. This role includes handling a patient ratio of up to 1:6, requiring recent acute care experience and the ability to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Arizona.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in telemetry.
• Experience in precepting or charge nurse roles is a plus.
