Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in the ICU setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with and manage ventilated patients, including care of arterial lines and central lines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of ICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Cardiac experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of application.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date.

Schedule

This position operates on a Night 3x12-Hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. Guaranteed hours are 36 for 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of floating to all three hospitals within a 20-mile radius.
