Schedule / Shift

12-hour rotating shifts (Evening/Night). Start times at 3 PM, 5 PM, or 7 PM. Typically every other weekend rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a busy Level II trauma community hospital. The ER sees over 45,000 patients annually and has a 30+ bed capacity. Trauma experience is essential, and pediatric experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
• Assist in triaging patients based on acuity and census.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy, preferably using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• California RN License (CA EMSA compliance required).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (attach certification copies upon submission).
• Experience with pediatric patients is strongly preferred.
