Surgical Services Position

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts across days, evenings, and nights. Weekend work is mandatory, with call shifts potentially covering Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Night shifts may occur on Fridays, and you may have to respond to calls on weekdays or weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced surgical services professionals to join our team. This role demands proficiency in various surgical specialties and the ability to respond promptly to calls, with a 30-minute response time required. In-house call rooms are available for use as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical assistance across multiple specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant.
• Engage in continuous learning and training to maintain expertise in operating room procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting within the last 3 years (preferably 3 years).
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the last 3 years.
• A minimum of 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong proficiency in the following specialties: General, Orthopedic (total joints), Neuro (Crani & Spine), Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci for cardiac procedures), and Transplant.
