Surgical Technologist - OR Experience Required

Schedule

PM shifts with a rotating schedule of 4 × 10-hour shifts, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. All shifts will rotate between days, evenings, and nights; call and weekends are also required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in various surgical specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries. You will be an integral part of our surgical team, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during operations.
• Handle and pass instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Participate in patient care and support before, during, and after procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room, preferably 3 years.
• Level 1 Trauma experience required (at least 1 year out of the last 3).
• Minimum of 1 year travel experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong proficiency in General, Orthopedic (total joints a must), Neuro (Crani & Spine a must), Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (Da Vinci), and Transplant surgeries.
• Available for rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, with a call response time of 30 minutes.
