Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position is located in a 10-bed admission unit that serves general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The ideal candidate will be equipped to communicate effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment, as this unit has a rapid patient turnover rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, preparing for rapid admissions.
• Maintain clear communication with healthcare team members and patients.
• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 5:1.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Valid RN license with Nursys verification required.
• Work history and resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
