This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Medicine unit will provide comprehensive care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role includes monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management.
• Document patient care and progress in the medical records system.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-discharge care and resources.

Required Experience

A minimum of one year of experience in an Acute Medicine or Medical-Surgical setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: AHA BLS Certification.
