Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Acute GI Medicine Unit, focusing on the management of patients with gastrointestinal conditions. This role requires a dedicated professional who can deliver high-quality nursing care, work collaboratively with healthcare teams, and follow established protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care nursing, preferably within the gastrointestinal specialty.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: BLS & NIH Certification.
• Preferred: ACLS Certification.
